Break Out Session Descriptions

  • Session A: “To Math and Beyond,” Dr. Tina Moore: Attendees will learn strategies and look-fors when observing a math classroom/lesson.  A great training for all administrators, but definitely a must for middle level/secondary administrators who may not have a math background.  This training is directly related to Math Quest.  Never heard of Math Quest...then maybe you should attend too!
  • Session B: “Put Me In Coach,” Dr. Kathy Morledge: Attendees will learn strategies and receive practical tools to further their coaching abilities as you lead a building focused on teaching and learning.  Come find out how to own the post observation conference!
  • Session C:  “504 Isn’t Just for Mardi Gras,” DESE and ESC Staff: The rules and regulations are one thing, application of them is a whole other ballgame.  This session will provide attendees the opportunity to continue fact/myth scenarios and a Q&A with seasoned professionals.
